We are thankful for a growing desire to be involved in association ministry. Recently, 19 volunteers from 4 association churches gathered at the office to assist in a large bulk mailing. We organized into 3 assembly lines of workers that specialized in labeling, addressing, stamping, stuffing, sealing, and sorting. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship and a great sense of accomplishment. In less than two hours these motivated servants prepared about 1350 pieces of mail that saved our office many days of work.
In the last 2 – 3 years other groups have assisted with office work, yard maintenance, and recycling huge amounts of Sunday School and bible study materials, etc. for a variety of ministries. I find it very encouraging to know that we can depend on volunteers that want to be personally involved in ministry at the NRBA office.
