Recycling Sunday School Literature

Updated: Aug 28, 2019

The Love Packages Ministry ships gently used Bibles, Sunday School Literature, and Christian books to ministries around the world. Many countries teach English in their schools. For example, 25% of the population of India can speak and read English. Love Packages has already shipped 340 tons of Christian materials to over 20 countries in 2019. Examples include Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Thailand, Burma, Peru, El Salvador and India. Love Packages has volunteers that sort, sift, and organize the materials received and ship them in 20-ton cargo containers at an average cost of 10 cents per pound. Lifeway donates unsold Sunday School literature to this ministry.

Here is how your church can donate used Sunday School literature.

· Collect your best gently used literature with enough individual pieces for a small congregation or Bible Study group to use.

· Pack tightly in small sturdy boxes that weigh less than 35 pounds.

· Ship by 4th Class mail through US Postal Service to

------ Love Packages, 60-D South Mountain Drive, Decatur, Alabama 35603.

· Send a small donation of $5 or $10 dollars to support this ministry.
